Putnam County Legislature Votes 8-0 to move forward with Early Learning Center.

The fracture in our county government threatens to derail a promising program that would give us a real chance to help all of our children have a chance to thrive.

Thursday night also saw the Rules Committee of the Putnam County Legislature hold their meeting. On the agenda was further discussion on the right of the Public to comment during legislative meetings. I provided comments to them, as I have done every time it’s been on the agenda since February.

Kathleen Ables, President at Putnam County Economic Development Corporation, came before the committee which led to an interesting exchange between her and a Legislature regarding Carmel Cinema. I also had the opportunity to address concerns with her.
